Foundation Program

PROGRAM INTRODUCTION：

Students will receive a graduation certificate and transcript after finishing the curricula and passing the graduation examination. The program will last for one year.

1、This program targets students without , or with limited prior knowledge of Chinese.

2、Students are not required to have advanced knowledge of mathematics, a basic knowledge will suffice.

 

GENERAL CURRICULUM：

1、Class hours : Monday to Friday , twenty-six hours per week .

2、Course focus: grammar, spoken Chinese, listening, pronunciation, Chinese characters, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and so on.

 

APPLICATION PREREQUISITES：

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport , have attained a senior high school diploma, and be aged 18-35.

 

APPLICATION MATERIALS：

1、USTB Application Form for International Students with a photograph attached. Please visit http://onlineapply.ustb.edu.cn/ , fill in the form and submit , then print a hardcopy to reference . 

2、A senior high school graduate diploma, must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or English.

3、Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present date, including courses taken and standards achieved, must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or English.

4、A copy of your Chinese level certificate or Chinese study certification, if applicable.

5、One photocopy of your standard-issue passport .

 

Note : Please hand in personally or sent them by post to : The 113 office , International Office , University Science and Technology Beijing , Beijing 100083 China (the envelop must be marked “ Application for Foundation Program Admission”). Incomplete application materials will be not process. Application materials will be not returned.

 

APPLICATION FEE：

600 RMB in cash. 

Note: Fee should be paid in cash.

 

APPLICATION PERIOD：

From March 1st to August 20th each year.

 

TUITION FEE：

23300 RMB per year

Register your details on http://onlineapply.ustb.edu.cn/ . Fill in the application form and submit .

International students office will examine qualification of the applicant.

 

Unsuccessful

Before the specified application deadline , re-submit the erroneous or missing information.

 

Successful

Print the application form and attach a photo , submit application materials and application fee to International Students Office of USTB.

 

The international students office will send out the admission letter and Jw202 form in 15 days.
