Welcome to the “Innovation & Integration” 2015 USTB International Forum

From October 26 to 30, 2015, the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) will hold the “Innovation & Integration” 2015 International Forum. The forum aims to serve as a platform for universities’ executives to interact and exchange ideas, opinions and views on the field of internationalization of university education and its implications. Given the rapid development of information technology, the issue of international education has become an essential element in developing higher education models and practices. Best practices and lessons learnt on how to facilitate international education in universities will be shared and discussed among the participants and guest speakers during the forum. The forum will include 50 representatives from leading global universities, who are the strategic international partners of USTB.

II. Location of Activities

Education Exhibition: The yard in front of USTB Library

 

III. Introduction of Activities

Seminar:

Participants are invited to give a 15-minute speech on either their education cooperation programs or strategies for international outreach. Suggested topics are:

(1)    New Models of International Education Cooperation between Universities

(2)    International Strategy and Characteristic Development of Universities

(3)    International Education and Innovative Talents Training

Education Exhibition:

Each university should prepare school brochures and posters for the exhibition, which will be held in front of USTB library. Brochures and posters may be sent to us by post in advance. Our address is:

IV. Expenses

Expenses incurred in Beijing, including board, lodging, and arranged local activities of two participants from each university will be borne by USTB.
