USTB is Visited by the Vice President of the University of Arlington, Texas

 

On December 8 Dan Himarios, Vice President of the University of Arlington in Texas, visited USTB. Vice President Wang Ge of USTB received the guests and was accompanied by Yan Debin, director of the Institute of Management, and Guo Kanjun, director of the International Office.

         Vice President Wang began by welcoming the guests and briefly reviewed the history between the two schools. The EMBA program that was originally began in 2002 has trained more than 1,000 senior business executives and has attained excellent results. USTB has sent more than 40 teachers to the University of Arlington to study and the two schools have engaged in deep cooperation, including founding a dual-degree program. Vice President Himarios praised the EMBA program and expressed his wish that the two schools would continue to work together closely. Afterwards the two sides reached a consensus on finding ways to deepen cooperation and further promote development within their partnership within other fields.

         As a result of the visit the two sides agreed that the partnership had been very fruitful. All parties involved were especially happy with the EMBA program that has further improved management training and improved USTB’s international credentials.
