Vice-President of the University of Dublin, Trinity College Visited USTB

The color green is commonly associated with growth; it is also often represented as the color of the Irish. Both interpretations were appropriate for March at USTB as the second Irish delegation arrived at the university within the month, with the intentions of growing relationships and spreading the seeds of knowledge.

On March 28th,  Prof. Jane Ohlmeyer, Vice-President of the University of Dublin, Trinity College visited USTB and was greeted by Prof. Zhang Yue, Vice-President of USTB and Prof. Wang Ge, Director of the International Office.

Prof. Zhang extended his warmest welcome to Prof. Ohlmeyer, and the two parties exchanged ideas over research and education, disciplinary construction and international exchange programs. The delegations reached a consensus over scientific research cooperation and agreed on further academic exchange programs for professors and students, all of which will be formalized in a cooperation agreement this September.
