Vice-Principal of University of Dundee Visited USTB
On March 10, 2016, University of Dundee Vice-Principal Wendy Alexander led a delegation to visit USTB. They were met and welcomed by USTB Vice-President Wang Ge.
During their meeting the two sides agreed to deepen collaborative efforts between the two schools and explore new means of cooperation. This would include expanding the existing 3+1+1 program to other professional fields, including science, engineering, literature, law, economics, management, and more. Afterwards, the delegation visited the DonglingSchool of Economics and Management to discuss the planning and implementation of dual-degree 1+1 Masters and 2+2 Bachelors programs.
USTB is one of five Chinese universities that have partnered with Dundee University. The two universities have maintained close ties since first coming together in 2009. Since then over 100 USTB students have gone to study at Dundee University, and that school has in return sent several scholars and professors to USTB for exchanges and academic seminars.
