Vice-President of Laurea University Visited USTB
On Dec. 7th, 2011, Prof. ArjaMajakulma, Vice-President of Laurea University of Applied Sciences, visited USTB. Prof. Luo Weidong, Chancell of USTB, Prof. Wenbin Wang, Dean of Dongling School of Economics and Management USTB, and Prof. Ge Wang, Director of the International Office met with the delegation and extended their warmest welcome.
Prof. Luo gave a brief introduction of USTB to the distinguished guests, who were deeply impressed by the great successes we have achieved in the past 60 years of development,. The delegate also introduced Laurea University of Applied Sciences and its academic strengths.
At the meeting, Prof. Luo and Vice-President Majakulma exchanged ideas on fields and ways of cooperation, and have reached an agreement on student exchange programs and academic exchange programs for professors.
After the meeting, Prof. Arja Majkulma and the other four delegates visited USTB History Museum and Dongling School of Economics and Management USTB.

Laurea University of Applied Sciences employs approximately 8,000 students and is the one of the largest university of applied sciences in Finland. Laura has multidisciplinary fields such as Business Management, Culture, Communication, Natural Resources & Environment, Catering & Domestic Services, Tourism, Social Services and Nursing. Courses of Business Information Management, Nursing and Social Services are taught in English.
