President Zhang Xinxin Attends Sino-French Higher Education Forum

In order to further strengthen USTB’s relationship and collaboration with French universities, President Zhang Xinxxin attended a Sino-French higher education forum from June 28 to July 2. The forum focused on two topics, “innovation and governance” and communication between Chinese and French students". Representatives from universities in China and France shared their experiences and latest developments in international education.

         During the meeting President Zhang met with representatives from Amiens Electricity and Electronics Engineers Institute to discuss potential collaboration, joint research. He also discussed topics with other officials related to teacher and student exchanges, talent training, and the overall promotion of cooperation

         During the forum Vice Premier Liu Yandong spoke warmly on the future of collaboration between Chinese and French universities. He expressed his hope that in the future each school would contribute its strongest subjects and help to promote advancements in materials, engineering, energy conservation, and greater student exchanges.
