Two studying in English programs are coming

 

English Program of Bachelor of Environment Engineering and Master of Higher Education will begin to recruit new students from September 2016.

Students can apply for these programs now.

Program Description:

   

Environmental Engineering (for undergraduate)

Program Introduction

Classes are taught in English.Students are required to complete the curriculum between 4 years , fulfill the designate credits. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor’s degree , according to the regulation of the Degree Committee.

 

Application prerequisites:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport , have attained a senior high school diploma.

 

Application materials:

1USTB Application Form for International Students with a photograph fixed.

 Please visit http://onlineapply.ustb.edu.cn/ or download the application form, fill in the form and submit, then print a hardcopy to reference .

2Senior high school graduate diploma (students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date, and submit the graduate diploma if admitted) , must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or English.

3Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present , including course taken and standard achieved , must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or English.

4English proficiency certificate for applicant from Non-English speaking countries: 70 or above in TOEFL, or 5 or above in IELTS, or a certificate from high school indicated language proficiency (ability to take courses in English)

5One photocopy of your valid passport (passport type must be ordinary).

6Qther materials needed.

 

 

Higher Education (for graduate)

Program Introduction

Classes are taught in English. Students are required to complete the curriculum between 2-3 years, fulfill the designate credits, complete the master’s thesis and defend it in front of a panel of experts. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the master’s degree, according to the regulation of the Degree Committee.

 

Application prerequisites:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, have attained a bachelor’s degree.

 

Application materials:

1USTB Application Form for International Students with a photograph fixed.

 Please visit http://onlineapply.ustb.edu.cn/ or download application form, fill in the form and submit , then print a hardcopy to reference .

2Graduation certificate and degree diploma (students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date, and submit the graduate diploma if admitted) , must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or English.

3Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present , including course taken and standard achieved , must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or English.

4A personal statement, 800 words, must be in Chinese or English.

5Two recommendation letters from your referees . The referees should be professors . At least one of them should have knowledge of your recent academic work . The format of the recommendation letters must be original documents either in Chinese or English .

6A copy of your language test result :IELTS 6 points or above ; IBT 80 points or above.

7One photocopy of your valid passport (passport type must be ordinary).

8Table of contents and abstracts of your academic publications and any other original achievement in your field.

9Health certificate from a public hospital.

10Other materials needed.
