Vice-President of Jackson State University Visited USTB

 USTB’s spring of promoting and developing international ties continued in May with a visit from Prof. Mark G. Hardy, Vice President of Jackson State University in Mississippi. Prof. Zhang Yue, Vice President of USTB and Prof. Wang Ge, Director of the International Office met with their guest.

Prof. Zhang extended his warmest welcome to Prof. Hardy and provided him with an introduction to USTB’s historical development and its focus on research and education, disciplinary construction and international exchange programs.

Prof. Hardy, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, and gave his hosts an overview of Jackson State University.

The two parties then exchanged ideas over modes of future cooperation and reached an agreement over student exchange programs, cooperative scientific research efforts and further academic development programs.

After the meeting, Prof. Zhang and Prof. Wang provided their guest with a tour of the USTB History Museum and the Research Center  of Bioengineering and Sensing Technology.
