Sunchon National University Delegation Visited USTB
On March 26, 2015, Dean of the International Affairs and Language Studies Jung Dongbo from Sunchon National University visited USTB along with a three-person delegation. He was met by Guo Kanjun, Director of the International Office, and Deputy Director of International Student Centre Li Baoming. The two sides held joint-talks.
Dean Jung’s visit was intended to hold discussions on carrying out further academic cooperation between USTB and Sunchon National University. He presented on “Brain Korea 21” program and plans to carry out student exchanges in the fields of materials science, electronics, chemistry, and others. The two sides then went on to discuss implementation of the Confucius Institute, and carrying out both a joint summer program and international seminar.
Afterwards Dean Jung visited laboratories of Computer and Communication Engineering, where he expressed his optimism towards the two university’s future collaboration.
