Vice-president of Manchester Metropolitan University Visited USTB
On June 5, 2015, USTB President ZHANG Xinxin met with the Vice-president of Manchester Metropolitan University Ms. Myszka Guzkowska. GUO kANjun, Director of International Office and HE Lan, Deputy Dean of Business Management School , attended the meeting as well.
President ZHANG warmly welcomed Vice-president Guzkowska to USTB. He expressed that the two universities has made big achievement in cooperation since the two universities established partnership in 2012. It has greatly benefited the study of economics, finance, and management at USTB. USTB’s Business and school Management officially passed the AMBA certification in 2013, bringing it great prestige. He ended by expressing his hope that the two universities would continue to work more closely and deeply over the coming years.
Vice-president Guzkowska then spoke about the beneficial partnership her university enjoyed with USTB and the successes they had seen since beginning to working together. Concerning the two projects the universities are collaborating on, the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) and Masters of Accounting (MPAcc), she believed that these projects would ensure deepening bonds between the two schools.
Subsequently the two sides discussed possibilities for future cooperation including summer exchanges, joint Masters Degrees, and online education. Additionally they talked about new collaboration in other fields, such as art and design, logistics, and other fields.
