2013 Beijing International Environmental Technology Conference Held at USTB

From Oct. 21st to 22nd, the 2013 Beijing International Environmental Technology Conference was held at USTB with the theme of “Reinforcing Technological Innovation, Improving Environmental Quality, Building Ecological Civilization”. USTB Chancellor LuoWeidong and Vice-chancellor Zhang Wenming attended the conference.
The objectives of the conference were to promote global and regional sustainable development, whileintegrating scientific research and the development of technology. Organizers of the conference hoped to provide a platform for both domestic and overseas scholars of environmental technology to communicate freely, and for enterprises to demonstrate their technical strengths. In meeting these goals, theconference is growing into a globally influential event in the field of environmental technology.
