USTB Contestant Clinches Second in SAF Speech Contest

The first SAF “Foreign University as I See It” Speech Contest, organized by USTB’s International Office and the “Hi World” Study Abroad Club, was held at USTB on Dec. 11th, attracting over 100 teachers and students from more than 10 universities including the Beijing Normal University, the Beijing Institute of Technology and the China University of Political Science and Law.

Having been tried and tested by the preliminary and the semi-final, 16 contestants were admitted to the final. Their fluent English, quick-witted answers and humorous speeches deeply impressed the judges and the audience.

In the end, USTB contestant Li Min clinched second place, while the first and third places were respectively won by contestants from the China University of Political Science and Law and the Central University of Finance and Economics.
