Prof. Yukinori Kobayashi gave a brief introduction about a newly launched education center in Hokkaido University. Nowadays, with the wide application of multimedia technology and network technologies, online education is developing quickly. Therefore, to adapt to the requirements of the new curriculum and the new teaching style, Hokkaido University have launched the open education center and featured many courses. Exchange students may use online resources to study even while abroad.

 

In return, Prof. Guo Kanjun introduced course construction of MOOC in USTB. In this semester, USTB has introduced 5 new courses to students, and received students’ positive feedback.

Both sides agreed that future collaboration will include more discussions on online courses and seek to benefit more students. Specific forms of cooperation such as student exchange programs and joint-degree programs for master students were also discussed during the meeting.

 

After the meeting, the delegation paid a visit to the gymnasium and school of foreign languages.
