Deputy Director of TAOBM Visits USTB

On April 17th, 2013, Huang Saixi, Deputy Director of Taiwan Affairs Office of the Beijing Municipality visited USTB. Prof. Zhang Xinxin, President of USTB, and Prof. Wang Ge, Director of the Office of H.K., Macao, and Taiwan Affairs, met with the delegation.

President Zhang offered a general introduction to Deputy Director Huang on the educational cooperation and communication efforts between USTB and universities in Taiwan. His introduction was expanded on by Director Wang with more information on the annual cross-strait communication activities, academic exchanges and student cooperative programs conducted by USTB.

During the meeting, Deputy Director Huang showed his approval of the efforts that USTB had made to promote educational and cultural exchanges with universities in Taiwan. He also added several constructive suggestions to further develop this cross-strait interaction.
