USTB Honored by Chinese Institute of Higher Education for International Work Branch

From December 28-30, 2017, the 2017 annual meeting of China Society for Higher Education and Guidance Branch was held at Sun Yat-sen University. More than 230 representatives from 200 institutions attended the conference.

In conjunction with the spirit of the 19th NPC, the conference reviewed and summarized the achievements made in 2017 and introduced the relevant work for 2018. This year the Society also conducted a nationwide selection of "Excellent Director Unit of Intelligence Work". Our school has come to the fore and has become one of the ten units in China that won the award. Director Guo Kanjun of the International Office received the award on behalf of USTB.

In recent years, USTB has sought strategic opportunities, targeting the forefront of international focus, and striving to enhance the level of education. At this stage of the school, there are five "111 Disciplinary Innovative Guiding bases", one project of "Innovative Talents Innovation Program" and one "High-tech Innovative Center of Colleges and Universities" in Beijing, with an average of more than 30 national and provincial Ministerial-led projects, for the development of international teaching and research schools to provide support. The award is recognition of the results of our work and will further promote our talents management work.
