In the following workshop the schools discussed the topics including the promotion of internationalization strategy, new models of cooperation, new talents training, and comprehensive reforms of graduate education through specialized seminars and exchanges. In regards to training new talents, the delegates promoted the strategies of “an integrated academic curriculum including internationalization and English components” and “leveraging disciplines to develop a new method of internationalization” through discussions of the schools mutual experience.

The Seminar was originally organized in 2006 by USTB and Sunchon National University, with USTB holding the first gathering. Since then each participant has taken turns hosting the Seminar, and this was the third time that USTB acted as the host.  The four-university seminar has become an important annual event to deepen ties between the participating schools and promote common development.
