President Zhang Xin xin led a delegation to attend the 10th annual meeting of Climate Change and Energy Sustainable Development across the Taiwan Strait

From 12^th to 14^th September, Zhang Xinxin, the President of USTB, and Wang Ge , the president’s assistant, attended the Climate Change and Energy Sustainable Development 10^th annual meeting. There were more than 110 experts in attendance. The meeting’s agenda concerned the efficient use of carbon energy and environmentally friendly energy technology.

Zhang Xinxin delivered a speech at the meeting. He reviewed the history of cooperation between the two universities, describing the experience of cooperating with universities in Taiwan . He hoped that future successful cooperation will benefit the development of universities in both China and Taiwan.

This meeting was first organized in 2005 and has become a prominent professional academic meeting. The council has been built in both China and Taiwan. The members are experts in environment and energy, and includes both senior managers and officials. The 12^th annual meeting of Climate Change and Energy Sustainable Development across the Taiwan strait will be held at USTB in 2016.
