Fenjia University of Taiwan Visited USTB

On the morning of May 8, Mr. Li Binggan, President of Taiwan's Fengjia University, visited USTB. President Zhang Xinxin met with the guests, and both sides carried out an in-depth discussion on students exchange.

         The two schools reviewed their 9 year partnership and discussed the issue of joint-training to be carried out together. They agreed that in the future the main source of learning for students would not be at the university, but rather doing practical hands-on work in industry. As such, so as to adapt to the changing times and better benefit their students, each university would have to learn new teaching styles and cooperate in promote cross-disciplinary education.

         After the meeting the delegation visited the USTB gymnasium.

         This visits continued the trend of ensuring strong mutual-aid between USTB and Fengjia University. Amongst those present at the meeting were USTB Law School Professor Zhao Yu Shuji, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office Director Guo Kanjun, Principal Guo Zhiheng, Vice President of Mechanical Engineering, Zhang Jie, Vice President of Computer and Communication Engineering, and Director Sun Chang of the Department of Computer Science.
