USTB is Visited by Representatives from the University of Leuven, Belgium

From November 28 to December 1, Professors Verlion and Seefeldt from the University of Leuven visited USTB. They were met by Director Guo Kanjun of the International Office, and the two sides discussed future cooperative exchanges between the schools.

         During the visit the two sides reached a consensus on deepening future collaborative efforts, including more student and teacher exchanges, engaging in cooperative research, jointly applying for research projects, and the joint training of graduates. Additionally an agreement was signed for greater inter-university cooperation that would bring professors from Leuven to interview USTB students next year.

         Over the course of the visit the two sides had good interactions and praised the quality of students engaged in international exchanges, especially in the fields of materials science and metallurgy, who have helped lay the foundation for future cooperation.
