KU Leuven sends delegation to USTB

On the morning of 25^th November , Zhang Xinxin,the President of USTB, met with Prof. Bart Blanpain and Prof. Marc Seefeldt.

Prof. Bart Blanpain and Prof. Marc Seefeldt were welcomed to visit to USTB. President Zhang hoped that USTB could continue to exchange students and initiate new projects with KU Leuven. He pointed out that the cooperative foundation between the two universities is strong, and there are about 120 graduated USTB students who have gone to KU Leuven to finish their master degree. The exchange of postgraduates and PhDs can bring positive effects for exchange and research done by professors, which can further promote and improbe the relationship between the two universities. Prof. Bart Blanpain and Prof. Marc Seefeldt expressed their hope that they can cooperation with USTB in some academic fields, for example, the field of materials and metallurgy.

After the meeting, the delegation paid a visit to the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Metallurgy of USTB.
