USTB and De Montfort deepen Cooperative Partnership

On July 9th, a delegation of four led by Prof. Andy Collop, Pro-Vice Chancellor of De Montfort University, Britain, visited USTB. Chancellor LuoWeidong met with the delegation.

During the meeting, the two universities compared notes on the recently established Confucius Institute and decided to find ways to deepen their cooperation and communication on this basis. Leaders of both universities attached great importance to their cooperation and expressed high hopes for its future development. Chancellor Luo and Pro-Vice Chancellor Collop signed a cooperation agreement at the end of the meeting, laying the foundation for future cooperation throughvisits of teachers, student exchange programs, scientific research partnerships and more.

The delegation also visited many places on the USTB campus, including the USTB history museum, the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the School of Foreign Studies and the School of Mechanical Engineering.
